1. Paper Route Loop
This trail might be one of the most popular cross-country biking loops on Mammoth Mountain. The dirt on this trail is firmly packed and offers a variety of terrain. From start to finish, this loop should be around 10 miles so be prepared. This leg burner starts at the Uptown/Downtown trail junction and ends near the start of Chair 4.
2. Uptown Trail
Uptown trail is another staple for Mammoth locals. This is a one way trail, so be ready to commit to the full length of the ride totaling around 4.5 miles. The majority of this trail is uphill, so riders usually like to take connecting paths like the Downtown Trail, which will loop you back around to the top.
3. Mountain View Trail
Some say that this trial is one of the best biking trails in all of the Mammoth Mountain region. Many riders take the trail as an out and back. They also connect it with the Uptown Trail, Downtown Trail, or the Starkweather Trail.
4. Lower Rock Creek Trail
This trail is one of the best single track trails! It offers multiple ride options including a longer out and back.
5. Panorama Dome
This course is an intermediate riders dream. The trail gently climbs through the forest which evidently wraps around through the Downtown Trail and back to the North Village.
