You might be thinking that May is the end of the ski season, but thanks to a record setting winter skiing and snowboarding are far from done. That’s why there’s never a better time to visit Mammoth Lakes than this May.

Unbound Party in the Park (5/6 5 pm)
It’s hard to beat a slush session in Mammoth’s famous Main Park. However, a sunset session in Main Park while a live D.J. plays on Main Lodge’s sundeck could do just that.
If Main Park and special features built for kids aren’t enough for you, then know that this event is free and open to the public. All you need to do to get on the snow is ask for a lift ticket at the tent at the bottom of Unbound Express.
Wings for Life Relay (5/7 4 pm)
Run through the beautiful Eastern Sierras for a great cause.
Wings for Life is a non-profit that puts on races all over the world to raise funds for spinal cord research. 100% of your entry fee will be dedicated to research, so you can test your endurance at high altitude while supporting Wings for Life.
B4BC Love Your Peaks (5/7 8 am)
B4BC is a non-profit organization that raises funds to support breast cancer awareness and research efforts.
They will be holding a fun race, raffle, and tribute ride to do just that at Mammoth Mountain, making for one of the most important events of the year!
Mammoth Yacht Club (5/26)
We’ve already mentioned some of the most important events of the year at Mammoth Mountain, but the Mammoth Yacht Club may be the most fun event of the year.
Bring your best seafaring costume for a fun day on the mountain that includes tubing at McCoy Station.
