With knowledge comes great responsibility. At least that’s what our Mammoth Lakes Librarian tells us! The new building features a larger station of public computers, multiple meeting rooms, a youth section stocked with child development toys and programs, a teen area, and did we mention free Wi-Fi?
The facility also hosts a number of special events including Kids Cooking Classes, Game Day, Family Concerts, Art Shows, Book Clubs, and more.
The Mammoth Lakes Library also serves as a joint-use structure that acts as a research facility for Cerro Cost Community College students.
Not only is this library based in Mono County, a sacred space for learning, but it’s magnificently expansive building with beautiful natural lighting is a great place to escape the cold and enjoy a variety of indoor activities on a stormy day.
