June Lake Triathlon (7/9)
Running, swimming, and biking may not sound like fun to most people, but when you’re doing all three somewhere as beautiful as June Lake it makes it a little easier.

Mammoth Shakespeare Festival (6/29-7/17)
The Mammoth Shakespeare Festival is one of the best events of the entire summer thanks to the talent on stage and the passion behind the performances. Oh, and it doesn’t hurt that the festival is free.
There is a suggested $15 donation that will go to the two theater companies that put on the festival, but everyone can enjoy Shakespeare in Mammoth!
Trad is Rad Weekend (7/15-7/17)
If you’re an aspiring trad climber then you know that the cost of gear and the serious learning curve involved with trad climbing can keep people away. Fortunately, Ground Up Climbing Guides put on a weekend clinic for people to learn how to trad climb safely and build skills to last a lifetime!
Eastern Sierra Book Festival (7/17)
Enjoy speakers, music, games, food, and, of course, books at the Eastern Sierra Book Festival! This festival is located right next to Hayden Creek so you’ll get to enjoy the beauty of the Eastern Sierras and great literature all at once!
Mammoth Jazzfest (7/15-7/17)
One of the most popular events in Mammoth Lakes is back again for another song!
Enjoy free live jazz and great food and drinks from nearby restaurants. Don’t forget to take advantage of the wine walk while you’re at it!

Mammoth Reggae Fest (7/22-7/24)
Not to be outdone by jazz, the Mammoth Reggae Festival is another popular event that draws people from all over the area together to enjoy great music!
