Staff Pick- Best Restaurants in Mammoth

Finally made it to Mammoth, had a great day mountain biking mammoth, hiking, backpacking, fishing and adventuring but realized one thing… you’re starving! Here at Adventure Sports Outpost we’ve got you covered and have made a list of our favorite places to grab some delicious bites! If you’re looking for something sweet for breakfast or snack before mountain biking on the trail or taking an outdoor adventure, we love the coffee, pastries and sandwiches at Mamma’s Kitchen Table. Usually the owner Janet will greet you with a smile and find the perfect thing to fix your hunger and cravings! Mamma’s Kitchen Table is located just feet away from Adventure Sports Outpost.

Driving from Southern California but still craving some good Mexican Food? Check out Roberto’s Mexican Café. They are famous for their soups but even more well known for their margaritas! Our favorite night is Tuesday to take advantage of their taco Tuesday specials. Roberto’s is just a few blocks away on Old Mammoth Road.

If your wiped from a long day mountain biking, hiking or just adventuring Mammoth and need to cool down with a refreshing beer, here at ASO we have two favorites; Mammoth Brewing Company and Black Doubt Brewing Company. Mammoth Brewing is a bit more well-known and has a full menu, while Black Doubt specializes in more nano-brewing and is a newcomer in town. Either way… we love them both after some good backpacking, hiking or biking!

If you have had enough of the dirt and packed lunches and want to taste a bit of international cuisine we highly recommend the Mammoth Rock Brasserie. Having a mix of French and high end favorites this is an ASO top pick for a nicer night out. Located on Old Mammoth Road above the Mammoth Rock n; Bowl this newer restaurant has become a town favorite.

Our last pick is if you’re looking for a night out or some excitement during the later hours of the evening. Located in The Village we recommend Campo. Having a wide variety of menu items and a large drink menu this restaurant is great if you’re looking for more urban energy that has come down from a long hike or mountain bike ride and made a visit to the spa in-between.

While Mammoth may be short of tall skyscrapers and LA traffic, this small town is not short on adventure and fine dining. These our top recommendations to enjoy the food of Mammoth after visiting great shops like Adventure Sports Outpost for your gear and rentals and after adventuring Mammoth to mountain bike, hike and backpack to your hearts content.
