1. Mammoth Half Marathon & 5K (June 18th)
If you’re looking for a challenge, sign up for the Mammoth Half Marathon or 5K. These races take you through some of the most beautiful scenery in the Eastern Sierra, including forests, lakes, and mountains. You’ll also get to experience the high altitude of Mammoth Lakes, which is more than 8,000 feet above sea level.
2. Mammoth Margarita Fest (August 11th–12th)

Who doesn’t love a good margarita? The Mammoth Margarita Fest is a celebration of this classic cocktail, featuring tastings from top bartenders, live music, and food vendors. There’s also a margarita-making competition, where bartenders compete for the title of best margarita maker.
3. Mammoth Wine Weekend (August 17th–20th)

Wine lovers, this one’s for you. The Mammoth Wine Weekend is a celebration of fine wines and gourmet food in the heart of the mountains. You can sample more than 100 wines from around the world, attend seminars and tastings with experts, and enjoy a wine walk through the village.
4. Mammoth Motocross (August 25th–September 3rd)

The oldest continuous running motocross event in the US, Mammoth Motocross attracts thousands of riders and spectators every year. Watch as they race on the challenging dirt track and perform thrilling stunts. You can also join the fun by signing up for one of the amateur classes or the kids’ race. Originally scheduled for June 16th–25th, the 2023 Mammoth Motocross has been moved to this later date because of the record-breaking snowfall Mammoth Mountain has experienced this season.
5. Mammoth Rock N Rye (September 1st–3rd)

The perfect way to end your summer, Mammoth Rock N Rye is a three-day festival of music, whiskey, and craft beer. You can listen to live bands playing rock, blues, country, and more, sip on more than 100 whiskeys and ryes from top distilleries, and taste more than 50 craft beers from local and regional breweries. You can also join fun activities like cornhole tournaments, barrel racing, and mechanical bull riding.
In addition to these events, Mammoth Mountain also offers a range of activities for visitors throughout the summer. You can hike to scenic lakes and waterfalls, go fishing in the many streams and rivers, or play a round of golf at one of the area’s top courses. The Adventure Center also offers activities such as rock climbing, zip lining, and bungee trampoline.
