Over the past week we have covered a number of events happening during the Labor Day Weekend: Sidewalk Sales, Adventure Sports Outpost Open House and we would like to share one more… Mammoth Rock N Rye happening today September 1st through Sunday, September 3rd. Read further for event details and managing your hiking, biking and adventures with some great music!
Starting Friday at 3pm and on Saturday and Sunday at 1pm the Rock N Rye festival will feature music, food, spirts and fun for the whole family. Local appearances will include those from Breweries, restaurants and musical favorites. Attending the festival is free but tastings, food and beverages come at an additional cost. During the festival we recommend checking out the rock wall for the kids open Saturday and Sunday from 2-6pm and in the evening on Saturday for adults, we recommend taking the Gondola to the Skydeck Lounge for unlimited Whisky tastings and crafted cocktails.
To not limit you to all the adventures to be had in Mammoth Lakes we recommend renting mountain bikes during the cooler mornings on either Saturday or Sunday and when the crowds clear a bit Monday take a hike to rainbow falls on Monday morning. This way you have the afternoons free to check out the best music and food and the evening to try some crafted cocktails and see the sights from the top of Mammoth Mountain.
